SAD GOODBYES AND HAPPY HELLOS

Sometimes after all of the hustle and bustle of last minute preparations for leaving, saying goodby to loved ones, and I am finally ‘buckled in’ for the beginning of another international trip, as I gaze down the runway for the ascending flight, the tears begin to flow.

They are mixed tears, some because of beginning already to miss loved ones, some of expectancy for the coming opportunities of sharing Jesus Christ with others of different cultures and languages, and some tears are from just plain exhaustion.

          But I have the comfort of knowing that once again I am off to fulfill the passion                    of my life. It is the giving the Gospel of Jesus Christ to whomever God has                              prepared to hear.  All Ambassadors of Him such as I, understand and are learning              that the assignment has no limitation of place or time, but is a full time – as we say              in the States –  ’24/7 job’.

          But praise God, we have the blessed hope that someday there will be no more                      separations, and everyone who has been born again and is walking in                           righteousness at the time of earthly departure will be reunited in Heaven.

Revelation 7: 9.  After this I beheld, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes and palms in their hands;

Revelation 7:13  And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes: and whence came they?

Revelation 7:14…..These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Revelation 7:16,17 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb, which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

My title for this blog, in part, being.      ………Happy Hellos’, I can only close by saying,

‘What happy hellos those will be!’

I, Nancy A. Sisco, have been a passionate Ambassador of Jesus Christ since I was born again 40+ years ago. I called myself a Christian for many years prior to that but did not really know Jesus until I experienced the transforming power of the Cross and infilling of the Holy Spirit. I now, late in physical life, am thrilled to have the blessing of being able to write and publish just a few of the many, many experiences of these past 40+ years.
